These spectacular mosaics are the most detailed true-color images of the entire Earth to date. A collection of satellite-based observations, combined with data from months of observations of the land surface, were blended together into a seamless, true-color mosaic of every square kilometer of the planet.

Mosaics are available for every month of 2004. These images show the dramatic seasonal differences.
